Pelitköy · November 2026 harvest
Olive oil that can prove where it came from.
The early harvest of our family groves and of growers we select. Behind every claim on the bottle sits a measurement: harvest date, free acidity, polyphenols, lot number, and the groves the oil came from.
The shop ships within Türkiye and is in Turkish. For anything else, write to us.
01 · The frame
Is it really what it says?
Anyone buying olive oil in Türkiye carries the same quiet fear: that the bottle is not what it says it is. Every shelf repeats the same sentence: my grandfather's grove, from the village. That sentence has stopped meaning anything, because everyone is saying it.
GADANA answers that fear with numbers instead of adjectives. Each batch publishes its harvest date, free acidity, polyphenol count, lot number and the groves it came from. Scan the code on the bottle and you see the record of your bottle, not a brand page.
02 · Proof
Every bottle arrives with its own record.
What follows is not a shop window but a batch's identity card. The first batch fills in with the November 2026 harvest; until then the empty fields stay empty.
No figure is estimated. Free acidity and polyphenols come from an accredited laboratory report, the harvest date from the grove log, the bottling date and food registration number from the licensed filling facility. A field without a document stays blank.

03 · Harvest
While the fruit is still green.
Early harvest means picking before the olive turns black. The same weight of olives gives markedly less oil: fewer bottles from the same tree. In return the taste turns sharp, with the peppery finish at the back of the throat.
It is an expensive choice. At GADANA there is no alternative: late-harvest oil does not enter this bottle.
04 · Origin
Three generations, the same groves.
Two grandfathers keep olive groves in Gadana, Pelitköy, in the district of Burhaniye. For them olive growing was never a venture; it is simply the shape of a life.
GADANA comes from the early harvest of these groves and of growers we select nearby. Every batch is measured in a laboratory and the groves it came from are recorded.
05 · The name
Kadana on the map. Gadana out loud.
A locality of Pelitköy, in the district of Burhaniye. The register says Kadana; nobody there does. The Aegean dialect softens a hard opening K, and we gave the brand the spoken version rather than the recorded one.
The name is not a borrowed association: it is the name of the place the groves stand in.
